Fringe

About

This is the ’off’ programme of the Festival, taking place in the afternoons. Groups are free to offer any type of performance or theatrical activity, also workshops. Innovation is encouraged. There is no charge for participation or as audience.

Venues

The Fringe will take place in two different venues.

Friday 27th: Centre National de Littérature (CNL – National Literature Centre)
The CNL’s imposing Servais House in the centre of Mersch will host the Fringe in either its splendid garden (weather permitting) or indoors conference room. With a nod to the literary nature of the venue, the Festival theme will be adapted, becoming Changing Times, Turning Pages. Participating groups will be asked to respond in like manner.

Saturday and Sunday 28th & 29th: Café Beim Méchel (to be confirmed)
This is a new café-concert venue with a large performance room upstairs. It is directly across the courtyard from the Kulturhaus theatre.
